At Lady Strut Gowns, we take great pride in providing personalized fittings and high-quality special-occasion gowns. Our goal is to ensure each gown fits our clients accurately and beautifully. Please review the following policy regarding custom gown orders, fittings, exchanges, and delivery expectations.
1. Fittings & Accuracy Disclaimer
All fittings are completed with the intention of ensuring the most accurate fit possible. Once a customer selects a gown for purchase—including custom orders—Lady Strut Gowns is not able to offer exchanges or changes to the selection unless the gown is damaged.
2. Inspection Before Pickup
Each gown is carefully examined before leaving the boutique. Customers are encouraged to review their gown at the time of pickup to confirm its condition.
3. Exchange Eligibility
Exchanges will only be granted under the following circumstances:
- If the gown arrives damaged, or
- If there is an unforeseen issue with delivery that prevents the correct item from arriving as expected.
All exchange approvals are at the discretion of the boutique owner, and any exchange offered will be for a gown of equal value.
4. Refund Policy for Custom Orders
Because all custom-ordered gowns are made specifically for each client:
- Customers are not entitled to a full refund for expedited delivery or custom-order costs.
- In the event of a verified delivery issue, customers will receive their items upon arrival.
- As a courtesy, Lady Strut Gowns will offer a 20% refund on the gown itself, but not a total refund, due to the boutique’s cost in procuring custom gowns.
5. Delivery Timeline & Client Responsibility
Clients ordering custom gowns for special events are required to place their order at least 14 days before their event date.
If a customer schedules a consultation and later reschedules to a date closer to their event, the customer assumes full responsibility for any unforeseen delays affecting delivery.
6. Courtesy Substitute Gowns
If a custom gown experiences a delivery delay, Lady Strut Gowns may offer a temporary substitute gown until the customer’s gown arrives. This is a courtesy accommodation and does not qualify the customer for a full refund, as the boutique has already incurred custom-order costs.
7. Final Sale Policy
All custom orders and gown sales are final, except in circumstances where the boutique owner offers an exchange solution at her discretion for a gown of equal value.
